The OZARK MOUNTAIN MIDGET SERIES will "invade" the Dallas County Speedway and be the featured class on Saturday Night, July 3rd as an added money "SPECIAL" for the Series has been put into the 2010 schedule. Support classes will be annoucnced at a later date.

The race night will also include The Bank of Urbana FIREWORKS show.

The Ozark Mountain Midget Series has just been scheduled for 4 appearances at the Dallas County Speedway in 2010. Well known driver, Rusty Dukes has purchased a new car and will be competing with the Series this year also. More info on dates, etc. will be posted as they come available. Dustin Arnall informed me today that 5-6 or so new cars are in the building process and will be ready for competition in the spring. We expect a minimum of 20+ cars per show this year and these guys will NOT disappoint you with their action packed, side by side, flatfoot racing action on the 1/4 mile track.

The Dallas County Speedway website maintenance has changed hands, Marvin Jurgens and Gary Woodall will be taking on this task. We hope to, with Bill and his Staff's support, make it a more useful and informative website for the track. Keep an eye on it over the winter, we will be updating Bill's planned work progress on the track and other info about the 2010 season. During the 2010 season we hope to better provide information drivers and fans are interested in such as Point Standings, Weekly Results, etc. We hope you will enjoy the changes in the site. Thanks in advance to Bill and his hard working Staff for working with us. And thanks to you Drivers and Fans for your interest and support.

List of on going improvements to the site:

arobul 9/2/09 - Assigned to rebuild and maintain the site. Reworked the main page and several important pages on the site.

arobul 9/3/09 - Reworked the intire site adding new graphics, some new sections, a counter, etc.

arobul 9/5/09 - Points were posted on southwestmissouriracing.com, so I made the points section, copied the points info and posted it to the site. After the races posted the nights results and added a guestbook.

arobul 9/6/09 - Added fan picture section and trophy picture section to the gallery. Added more photos to the 2009 picture section.

arobul 9/9/09 - Added more photos to the 2009 picture section.

arobul 9/10/09 - Added the 2009 Champions list. Also added a little java date thing to the main page. Drivers and Staff birthdays will be displayed next to the date on the main page. If you would like to have your birthday displayed on your birth date send me an email with your name and birth date.
